February 14th
Valentine’s Day, a day which celebrates love and passion, is observed annually on February 14. The origins of the holiday can be traced to the Middle Ages, a time where sacraments and courtly love were commonplace.
It was a celebration of romance between romantic friends and lovers during the 14th century. Valentine’s Day was the day to send one another gifts, flowers, and even cards.
By the beginning of the 19th century commercial cards had already been produced. The demand for postcards printed in bulk was also growing. These cards were also sought-after in shops because they were able to be displayed with themes.
Valentine’s Day is traditionally marked by giving your loved ones the gift of chocolate or candy, and flowers or a card. It is also possible to present jewelry.

Groundhog Day occurs annually on February 2. Although it is a popular holiday in Canada the Thanksgiving holiday is an American holiday.
The celebration originated from a superstition that originated among Pennsylvanians who were Dutch. The Americans, however, inherited the tradition of making predictions about weather from German immigrants. Punxsutawney Phil is a Pennsylvania groundhog that makes predictions for the rest of winter.
Scientists discovered that a mouse went into hibernation during winter. The goal was to predict the following six weeks of winter by watching how animals responded to the weather.
Groundhogs are part of the Sciuridae group of small hairy mammals. It is hibernates in the winter months. Groundhog Day is the most common day they can be in view from their burrows.

Presidents Daylight (third Monday in February) is a holiday that is celebrated across the nation. It is a day to pay tribute to the past American presidents. It was a time to honor both Lincoln and Washington.
Despite being an official holiday of the United States, not all states observe the holiday in all states. Certain states honor both presidents, whereas other states are limited to one. The Presidents’ Day holiday is widely recognized as a day to honor all U.S. presidentials, particularly Lincoln.
There’s a rich history of Presidents Day. Washington’s Birthday was the original title of the day’s celebration. Today, Presidents’ day is the official name.
Washington’s birthday, often referred to as Washington’s Day was a well-known not-official holiday. It was recognized as an official holiday of the United States Congress in the 1870s. Congress adopted the Uniform Monday holiday Act.
Meteor storms
Every year it is the time when the Earth passes through its circle around the sun causing a torrent of small meteors to explode into space. They can appear anywhere in the sky. Certain showers are more stunning than others. Nighttime is typically the best moment to observe.
