The Sciuridae family of small hairy mammals includes groundhogs. It hibernates during the winter months. The morning of Groundhog Day is when they can be observed peeking out of burrows.

Presidents Daylight is observed on the third Monday in Februar, is considered an official holiday of the United States. It pays tribute to past American presidents. The Presidents’ Day was usually a day dedicated to Lincoln and Washington.
