February 14th
Valentine’s Day (February 14th) is a day that celebrates love and passion. It is celebrated every year. The holiday’s beginnings can be traced back to the Middle Ages, a time when sacraments and courtly love were all the rage.
It was celebrated the romance between romantic partners and lovers during the 14th century. Valentine’s Day is a time to send Valentine’s Day gifts and flowers.
At the start of the 19th century, commercial cards had been created. In addition, postcards produced in large quantities gained a lot of popularity. These cards were a hit in retail stores as displays of themed designs.
Valentine’s Day traditions include buying your beloved a chocolate or chocolate gift along with a bouquet of flowers or a card. It is also possible to give them jewelry.

Groundhog Day is celebrated annually on February 2. It’s also a popular holiday in Canada however it’s American Thanksgiving.

The idea for this custom was born out of an observation by scientists that mouse hibernates during winter. The goal was to predict the next six weeks of the season using observations about how animals responded.
Groundhogs are part of the Sciuridae tribe of small, hairy mammals. It is hibernates in the winter. Groundhog Day is the most common day they can be in view from their burrows.
Christmas Day
The third Monday of February is Presidents’ Daylight. It is considered a national holiday. It is a day to pay tribute to the past American presidents. The Presidents’ Day holiday was traditionally a day to honor Lincoln as well as Washington.
It’s a federal holiday that is not observed by all states, despite it being one. Some states honor both birthdays of the presidents on the exact same day . Other states only honor one. Presidents’ Day, however, is now widely recognized as a chance to celebrate every one of the U.S. presidents, especially Lincoln.
The history of Presidents’ Day is a bit tangled. The Washington’s Birthday was the original title of the day’s celebration. Today the Presidents’ Day holiday is the official name.

Meteor storms
Every year each year, the Earth is orbiting around the sun. This causes a flood of small meteors that are released into space. They can appear anywhere in the sky. Certain showers are more spectacular than other. It is generally the nighttime time to watch.
The Perseids meteor shower is among the most impressive and largest of all the meteor showers. This is due to the fact that Comet 109P/SwiftTuttle is the culprit. But, since the Southern Hemisphere is home to some of the most spectacular fireballs, it makes sense to be able to observe the phenomenon from that region.

Roman holidays in antiquity

Other famous Roman festivities include Neptunalia, Saturnalia and Vestalia. These celebrations were originally held in honor of Mars, the godof war.
Roman working weeks had eight days. There were two parts to each day: morning and the afternoon. The nundin was comprised of 8 days. The rest of the year was made up by the remaining days.
