Catholic March Calendar – There are many wonderful holidays that are scheduled for February and they can all be observed during the entire month. February 14th

This celebration was born from a belief system that was popular that was prevalent among Pennsylvanians Dutch-speaking people. The American tradition of creating weather forecasts was brought to America through German immigration. Punxsutawney Phil is a groundhog native to Pennsylvania, makes meteorological predictions throughout the winter.
The tradition was born out of an observation by scientists that a mouse hibernated in winter. The goal was to predict the following six weeks of winter by observing how animals reacted to the conditions.
Groundhogs belong to the Sciuridae Family of small, hairy mammals. In winter, their main purpose is to hibernate. Groundhog Day mornings are a perfect time to see them peering from their burrows.
Christmas Day
Presidents’ Daylight is regarded as a national holiday observed on the third Monday in February. It is a day to pay tribute to the past American presidents. Presidents’ Day has traditionally served as a day to celebrate both Washington and Lincoln.
It’s a national holiday which not all states observe, despite it being one. Some states celebrate both the birthdays of presidents on the exact day, while some states only honor one. The Presidents’ Day holiday is widely regarded as an opportunity to recognize the achievements of all U.S. presidentials, particularly Lincoln.
The background of Presidents’ Day is a bit tangled. Washington’s Birthday was the first name given to the holiday. It is now known as Presidents Day.
An unofficial holiday that is well-known was the birthday of Washington, which is often referred to as Washington’s Day. In the late 1870s, it became a federal holiday. The Uniform Monday Holiday Act was enacted by Congress.
Meteor showers
Each year, Earth rotates around its sun. Small meteors are released into the atmosphere. They can appear anywhere in the sky. Certain showers are more spectacular than others. It is generally ideal to see the showers in the evening.
The Perseids meteor shower is among the most stunning and largest of all meteor showers. This is due to the fact that Comet 109P/Swift Tuttle is responsible for. Neptunalia was among the more well-known Roman festivities. The celebrations were initially planned to pay tribute to Mars as the god of war.
Roman workweeks had eight days. Each day had two parts: morning and afternoon. Nundin was an 8-day collection, with the rest of the year comprised of 29 days.
