Meteors hurling storms
Every year, the Earth passes through its orbit around the sun, creating an explosion of tiny meteors to fall into space. They can be seen everywhere in the sky. Certain showers are more spectacular than other. It is usually the nighttime moment to view.
The Perseids meteor shower is among the most impressive and largest of all the meteor showers. It is because of Comet 109P/Swift Tuttle. Although it will be visible from the Northern Hemisphere due to the huge fireballs observed within the Southern Hemisphere, it is worthwhile to observe from that area.
There are four meteor showers that dominate the sky every year. The Quadrantid is the most prominent due to its strong but brief peak. The other is the Lyrid which is famous for its unique surges. Additionally, the Geminid is renowned for its sexy appearance.
