It was believed to be a day of celebration that honored love between romantic partners and close friends in the 14th-century. In the 14th century, on Valentine’s Day, it was customary to send flowers, cards and presents to one another.
In the beginning of the nineteenth century commercial cards were readily accessible. The popularity of postcards printed in bulk also grew. Themed displays of these postcards were put up in stores.

PunxsutawneyPhil, a Pennsylvania groundhog makes meteorological predictions for all of the winter.
When researchers discovered that mice hibernate during winter, they established the basis for this practice. The goal was to predict the next six weeks of the season by studying how animals reacted to climate.
Groundhogs are part of the Sciuridae which is a small group of hairy mammals. During the winter, its primary purpose is to go into hibernation. Groundhog Day mornings are a excellent time to observe them peering from their burrows.

Presidents Daylight (third Monday in February) is a holiday that is celebrated across the nation. It’s a tribute to all past American presidents. In the past, Presidents Day has been a day of celebration for both Lincoln and Washington.
Although it’s a federal holiday however, many states do not observe it. Some states celebrate the birthdays of both presidents at the same time, whereas some states only recognize only one president. But Presidents’ Day is widely recognized as an opportunity to recognize the achievements of all U.S. presidentials, particularly Lincoln.

Washington’s birthday, more commonly known as Washington’s Day is a well-known non-official holiday. It was declared a federal holiday by Congress in the latter 1870s. In reaction, Congress passed Uniform Monday Holiday Law.
Meteor storms
