It was a holiday that celebrated the love between romantic partners as well as close friends during the 14th century. Valentine’s Day was the day to exchange flowers, gifts and cards.

Christmas Day
Presidents Daylight (third Monday in February) is a national holiday. It is a day to honor previous American presidents. Presidents’ Day has historically been a day to pay tribute to both Washington and Lincoln.
It’s a federal holiday which not all states observe, despite it being one. While some states celebrate both the presidents birthdays on the exact same day while other states only honor one. The Presidents’ Day holiday is widely recognized as an opportunity to recognize all U.S. presidentials, particularly Lincoln.

Meteor storms

Roman holiday celebrations in antiquity

The fields of grain were believed to benefit from its protection and fertility.
Ludi Ceriales, another celebration was dedicated to Ceres. Ludi Ceriales celebrations can be traced back to the year 202 BC.
Vestalia, Saturnalia, and Neptunalia were three other popular Roman celebrations. They were celebrated originally in honor of Mars, a god of war.
The Roman workweek was 8 days long. Each day was divided into two sections: morning and afternoon. A nundin was an eight-day collection, with the remainder of the year comprised of 29 days.
