February 14th
Valentine’s Day is an annual holiday that is a celebration of love, passion and is observed on February 14th. The celebration’s roots can be traced back to the Middle Ages when courtly love and sacraments were common.
It was thought to be a celebration of love between romantically involved acquaintances from the 14th century. In the 14th century, on Valentine’s Day, it was customary to send cards, flowers and presents to one another.
Commercial cards were available from the beginning of the 19th century. The demand for the printing of postcards in bulk. They were also very well-liked in shops since they were able to be displayed with themed designs.
Valentine’s Day is traditionally marked by giving your loved one the gift of chocolate or candy, and a card or flower. You can also present jewelry.

PunxsutawneyPhil is a Pennsylvania groundhog that makes meteorological predictions all through winter.
The whole thing began when scientists discovered an animal that was hibernating during the winter. The idea was to predict the coming six weeks of the season using observations about the way that animals reacted.
The Sciuridae family of small, hairy mammals includes groundhogs. They hibernate throughout the winter months. Groundhog Day is the most regular day they can be observed looking out of their burrows.
Christmas Day
The third Monday of February the President’s Daylight is recognized as a national holiday. It celebrates the past American presidents. It is a holiday that honors both Lincoln, Washington, and has been Presidents Since the day it was first introduced.
Although it is a federal holiday however, not all states observe it. Some states honor both presidents simultaneously, whereas other states only honor one. Although Presidents’ day is now a common thing, it allows us to remember all U.S. presidents and especially Lincoln.
Presidents’ Day has a convoluted past. The Washington’s Birthday was the first name of the celebration and is now known as Presidents’ Day.
Washington’s birthday is an incredibly well-known and not officially recognized holiday, as well as Washington’s Day. In the latter half of 1870s it became a federal holiday. This led to Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.
Meteor storms
Every year, the Earth orbits around the sun. This results in a flood of tiny meteors to be released into space. They appear virtually everywhere in the sky. Certain showers are more spectacular then others. It is usually the nighttime time for watching.

Each year there are four meteor showers that are significant. The Quadrantid one is well-known for its explosive but short peak. Another well-known for its odd surges is the Lyrid. A Geminid is well-known for being approachable.
Roman holidays from antiquity
The Lupercalia was among the most well-liked holidays in ancient Rome. The month of February was when a fertility-cleansing ceremony was conducted. The priests offered animal sacrifices to an altar close to the Lapis Niiger. The animal’s blood was dumped into the hearth. The grain fields were thought to be protected and fertility.
Ludi Ceriales, another celebration was dedicated to Ceres. Ludi Ceriales celebrations can be traced back to the year 202 BC.
Neptunalia and Saturnalia were among the other popular Roman festivals. These celebrations were originally meant to pay tribute to Mars the god of war.
The Roman workweek was eight days long. Each day was divided into two sections: morning and the afternoon. Nundin was a collection that comprised of eight days. The remaining 29 days were the rest of the calendar year.
